Race Night

We have organised a Horse Race Night at Airyhall Community Centre. Tickets are £10 each and is open to swimmers and their family. Price includes an Ashvale Supper. The Centre is not licensed so you would need to bring your own alcohol. We will have drinks available for the children to have with meal.

What will happen on the night?
The horses are the wooden type on wheels which the owner/or jockey has to reel in so it’s all up to you to win!!
We will be starting with Heads and Tails to get the evening off where everyone pays £1 and the winner gets a cash prize.
We will have 6 races with 6 horses each race, we will be selling these before hand for £5 to be an owner and/or a member of your family to be the jockey on the night. First come first served.
We will have a 7th Race at the end and the 6 horses will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on the night.
Bets cost £1.
While you are having your Ashvale meal, we will have a roll your £1 coin bottle challenge. The nearest to bottle wins it.

Race 2 – Under 11’s
Race 3 –  The Women’s Open
Race 4 – 12 and overs
Race 5 – The Masters
Race 6 – Dolphin Delights

Ashvale Meal Choice:
Fish Supper

Burger/Cheeseburger Supper

If you are interested in going at the moment I am taking names, also if you are interested in buying a horse please state which race when you reply. I would need to know amount of tickets required/name/swimmer name/squad swimmer is in. I can get your food choice nearer the time when we have the tickets available for sale.

If you can’t manage you can still buy a horse and select a jockey for on the night.
