Januarry 2022 News update

  • We were delighted to hold our 2021 Club Championships at ASV on 16 January 2022, after having to miss the 2020 Champs due to covid restrictions. We had three male 16 and over records broken; Robert Bryce 100m Breaststroke, Finlay Clubb 100m freestyle and Tom Robertson 100m butterfly – huge congratulations to them.
  • We’re looking for parents to sign up for Timekeeper training. Now you’ve seen how a competition is run, why not volunteer to be one of the people in white?!  Please message Louise Smith to sign up: adsc@gmail
  • Record breaking swims at the North District Autumn 2021 Championships: Tom Robertson broke the National Age Group and Junior record for 50m butterfly, also breaking the ND records for 50m and 100m butterfly. Natalia Chociaj broke the s13 Scottish Records for 100m frontcrawl and 50m butterfly. Robert Bryce broke the ND 100IM record and his amazing 100m freestyle time was the first time someone in the ND has been sub 50 seconds in 14 years; the only other athlete to do it was Olympian Robbie Renwick.
  • Congratulations to Katy Campbell who has been selected to be on the Scottish Triathlon Academy Affiliate Squad.
  • Poolside Helper Course starting 7 February 2022.  Please message Ros Campbell to register: rosc.adsc@gmail.com

Coaches are so proud of these athletes!! They smashed it at the Scottish Swimming National League Finals down in Glasgow today. Placing 6th place in the A Division behind huge teams from City of Glasgow, Warrender, UoA, East Lothian and South Ayrshire is a fantastic achievement, and a great end to the short course season.
